We proudly launch “Integral Lewaah (Learning) Revolution” as a new Home for Humanity in Cameroon focusing on transforming male teenage drug addicts from drug trafficking and abuse through a holistic purposeful education – emerging out of our recently completed course journey “Unleashing the Power of Homes to Pioneer Planetary Regeneration”.
Enjoy this short video, produced by the founder of this new Home for Humanity, Linda Leogah Forkwa, a grassroots peacebuilder and a master's student of International Relations at the University of Buea - Cameroon.
About me
My name is Linda Leogah, a grassroots peacebuilder and a master's student of International Relations at the University of Buea - Cameroon. Coming from a community (Mutengene) whose fabric and population have been destroyed by the ongoing Anglophone conflict, have a burning passion to contribute to rebuilding and transforming the lives of the people hold close to my heart. More than the physical destruction of state and private property, Mutengene is left to deal with socio-economic damages including crippling economies, high rates of unemployment, poverty, massive school dropouts leading to heightened social ills - backstabbing, hatred, transactional sex, more devastatingly increased use and trafficking of illicit drugs mostly among male teenagers. These and many more has caused a major disconnect socially, spiritually, economically and politically, hence, Integral Lewaah Revolution provides a recovery all-inclusive blueprint that rectifies the challenge of drug trafficking and abuse among male teenagers in Mutengene and redefines education - purposeful education that prioritizes local knowledge.
The Integral Lewaah Revolution Model
The Integral Lewaah (Learning) Revolution model stems from the passion to transform male teenage drug addicts from drug trafficking and abuse through a holistic purposeful education, including economic empowerment, antidrug wellness programs, storytelling and transformative theatre art to restore hope to an almost lost generation amidst a fragile socio-economic context.
