This Gaia Culture art installation was created by Marko Pogačnik, UNESCO Artist for Peace and UN Goodwill Ambassador and the LifeNet Art Group at the Unity Park of Home for Humanity, in Haut Valromey, Ain, France.

Cette Installation d’Art de la Culture Gaia etait réalisée par Marko Pogačnik, Artiste UNESCO pour la Paix et Ambassadeur de Bonne Volonté des Nations Unies avec les artistes de LIFENET Art Group, sur le terrain de Home for Humanity – L'Homme pour l'humAINité, Haut Valromey, Ain, France.
English Version: Gaia Culture Art Installations, also called “Geopuncture” installations, stand for the dialogue between humankind and the Earth. Located at different points of the world – Canada (1), USA (3), Canary Islands (2), Portugal (1), France (1), Czech Republic (5), Austria (2), Bosnia and Herzegovina (2), Croatia (4), and Slovenia (8) – they are a project by Marko Pogačnik, UNESCO Artist for Peace and UN Goodwill Ambassador. Each geopuncture installation is a collective creation composed of many individual contributions. This is their first installation in France. The signs carved on the stones are called cosmograms and tell which aspect of the global Home for Humanity work and vision a particular stone is dedicated to. The creators of the cosmograms come from France, Germany, USA, and Slovenia.
This art installation reinforces the ecological relationship between Humanity and the Earth (Gaia), which is essential in these times of environmental crisis. Each cosmogram is specially designed by its artist to support a specific aspect of Home for Humanity's local-global vision and work, and to enhance the unique geography of Valromey and the region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, in the department of Ain.
It was inaugurated on 11 September 2021 in the presence of artists and guests from Valromey, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and neighboring countries.
Version Française: Ces installations de “géopuncture” représentent le dialogue entre l'humanité et la Terre (Gaia). Situées à différents endroits du monde – Canada (1), États-Unis (3), Îles Canaries (2), Portugal (1), France (1), République Tchèque (5), Autriche (2), Bosnie-Herzégovine (2), Croatie (4) et Slovénie (8) - elles sont un projet de Marko Pogačnik, artiste de l'UNESCO pour la paix et ambassadeur de bonne volonté des Nations Unies. Chaque installation de géopuncture est une création collective composée de nombreuses contributions individuelles. Celle-ci est leur première installation en France.
Les signes gravés sur les pierres sont appelés cosmogrammes et expliquent à quel aspect du travail et de la vision globale de Home for Humanity une pierre particulière est dédiée. Les créateurs des cosmogrammes viennent de France, d'Allemagne, des États-Unis et de Slovénie.
Cette installation d’art renforce la relation écologique entre l'Humanité et la Terre (Gaia), chose essentielle en ces temps de crise environnementale. Chaque cosmogramme est spécialement conçu par son artiste pour soutenir un aspect spécifique de la vision et du travail local-global d’ Home for Humanity, et pour valoriser la géographie unique du Valromey et de la région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes dans le departement de l'Ain.Elle a été inaugurée le 11 septembre 2021 en présence des artistes et des invités du Valromey, d’Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, et des pays voisins.

English Version: The installation is located in the Unity Park on the grounds of Home for Humanity - l'Homme pour l'HumAINité, a French association in the Haut Valromey. This park is dedicated to nurturing unity between our diverse peoples, cultures and geographies. Trees have been planted by visitors from all over the world to represent the diverse geographies of our Earth, and to celebrate the unique values of each of our world's cultures, each of which is essential to creating an inclusive and regenerative Earth civilisation together.

Version Française: L’installation est située au Parc de l’Unité sur le terrain de Home for Humanity - l’Homme pour l’HumAINité, association française dans le Haut Valromey. Ce Parc est dédié à nourrir l’unité entre nos divers peuples, cultures et géographies. Des arbres ont été plantés par des visiteurs du monde entier pour représenter les diverses géographies de notre Terre, et pour célébrer les valeurs uniques de chaque culture de notre monde, chacune étant indispensable pour créer ensemble une civilisation terrestre inclusive et régénératrice.
