3 August 2026: Through the Eyes of Children: Painting the Future in SEKEM, Egypt with ALL FOR ONE

As part of the One Home Journey (1HJ) 2024–2030 across Africa, we recently experienced the profound power of youth vision in Egypt. In a deeply inspiring gathering, children were invited to share their purest hopes and visions for the future through the universal language of art and painting.

This beautiful exercise in imagination was hosted at the SEKEM Group, an incredible Egyptian community that has spent decades fostering education, sustainability, and respectful coexistence. At SEKEM, people from diverse backgrounds, religions, and cultures learn and live together, actively shaping a future built on harmony, inclusion, and diversity.

The Voices of Tomorrow

Every dream matters, and every child's voice deserves to be heard. When asked to envision their ideal world, the children painted a future rooted in nature, beauty, and global harmony. Their visions were as simple as they were profound:

• Hosam: "Peace throughout the whole world." 🕊️

• Rouvan: "Colorful flowers all over the world." 🌸

• Hadeel: "A world with trees and flowers in every color." 🌳

Dreams of 7+ Year-Olds for 7 Generations

This workshop was a proud part of Dreams of 7+ Year-Olds for 7 Generations, a joint initiative between our partners at ALL FOR ONE and the Home for Humanity movement.

By bringing together the #ALLFORONE and #HomesforHumanity families, we are committed to ensuring that the youngest among us have a platform to express their vision for the planet. The children of SEKEM remind us that beneath all our complex global efforts, the ultimate goal is incredibly clear: a peaceful, blossoming world where all life can thrive.
