25 March 2025 - Youth for the Future Workshop Mexico: Unleashing purpose and potential

Updated: Mar 28

"We Are Youth for the Future"

Mexican youth gathered on the second day of Earth Week at Huerto Roma Verde for the workshop "Future & transformational education: unleashing purpose and potential"

With International participation of the Youth for the Future Envoys of Home for Humanity across the world, uniting their voices, dreams, and determination to have an impact on their local Home.

Together, they shared their aspirations, weaving a collective vision of the future we all long to create.

Starting from the inner home transforming our communities, inner home, local Home, earth home

Through dialogue, creativity, and action, they enjoyed the answers—not just in words but in how we listened, connected, and co-created.

This was more than a gathering; it was a convergence of worlds. From Nepal to Uganda, Earth Envoys shared powerful stories of resilience, hope, and struggle with Social Work students from UNAM, Mexico’s leading public university.

In collaboration with Huerto Roma Verde, these students are actively working on an intervention to enhance green spaces, mitigate environmental challenges, and strengthen the resilience of local species and their impact on our lives.

"We all found reflections of our own journeys."

Stepping into each other’s realities—not just hearing but feeling the challenges faced across borders:

✨ The strength of those who plant seeds in barren soil, believing in unseen harvests.

✨ The courage of voices rising where silence once reigned.

✨ The quiet wisdom in learning that the struggles of others are also our own.

Empathy is the bridge between distant lands; understanding is the root of change.

Yesterday, the first day of Earth Week Mexico, the Abuelos infused their intentions into the Blue Earth—a gesture of wisdom, love, and responsibility. Today, the youth did the same.

What was set in motion now will ripple into the future.

Their hands, our hands—one continuous thread in the fabric of time.

Youth aren't just the ones who'll inherit the Earth. They're the ones who look after it. They're the ones who dream. They're the future.

This is just the beginning. Join us, share your vision, and be part of the movement for our One Home Journey
