Take a sneak-peak into this magnificent, newly launched Home for Humanity in San Diego, California.
We honour and celebrate the unique contribution of the WorldBeat Cultural Center and its dedication to inclusion, unity, transformation and regeneration in the community & on the planet. đ
Founded by Makeda âDreadâ Cheatom in 1984, the center is a multicultural arts organisation dedicated to promoting, presenting, and preserving the African Diaspora and Indigenous cultures of the world through music, art, dance, multi-media, education and STEAM Research.
By raising consciousness, the WorldBeat Cultural Center promotes peace within the San Diego community. It provides ongoing programs and services that nurture the spirit of children, the elderly, and everyone. Its main goal is to create unity within diversity.
It also has an incredible peace garden, dedicated to teaching young and old about the role of plants in society today, while also learning about the vital role of plants in local and global indigenous cultures of the past. Thereby, the center fosters a deep understanding and respect for the earth. đł
We are happy and proud to have WorldBeat Cultural Center join the Home for Humanity Movement!
