13 November 2024: One Home Journey - Uganda Invitation

We are writing to you as we drive through the night, culminating our incredible immersion in Tanzania (including the last 60 hours of challenging car breakdowns in remote areas!) with our local host Mr. Mugyabuso, to reach the Ugandan border!

We will be met there by Ruphin Kungwa and Roger Kivatsi, two outstanding youth leaders from DR Congo, now refugees in Uganda. We will go directly with them to the Nakivale Refugee Settlement where they live, to spend two days in intense workshops and interactions with their community. Then, we will travel together with Ruphin and Roger across Uganda to interact with other groundbreaking youth-led initiatives, and culminate at the Rhino Refugee Camp with Youth Camp Africa!

This immersion in Uganda, highlighting Youth for the Future and especially refugee youth leaders, will be particularly uplifting and heartwarming.
