05 April 2021: Launch of the Home for Humanity in India – Celebrating and Honouring CORO India

It is a great honour for the ‘Home for Humanity Earth Alliance’ to honour this exemplary organization by recognizing the family home of Mumtaz Shaikh and Rahul Gaware. Their home, like those of all members of the Women’s Federation, epitomizes a true ‘Home for Humanity’, by serving as a seedbed for human and societal transformation. It represents the thousands of homes of grassroots leaders of the Women’s Group Federation that has empowered 1000s of women across the low-income ‘slums’ of Mumbai in partnership with the NGO CORO INDIA over the past 30 years and serves as an exemplary Home for Humanity.
