“From one angle, Home for Humanity is one among thousands of NGOs/CSOs contributing towards a more just and secure world. But from

a wider angle, Home for Humanity is truly exceptional:

firstly because its initiators, Rama and Alexander, are such exceptionally motivated, devoted, inspirational people; secondly because

Home for Humanity is planetarily inclusive not only of all women and men but also of the needs and aspirations that will ensure a better future

for future generations. Everyone has a role!”

Cyril Ritchie lives in Geneva and has visited over 90 countries. During his long career as liaison between NGO, civil society, and advocacy mechanisms, he has worked with many United Nations agencies and entities. For six years he was Visiting Professor

at Kyung Hee University in Seoul and is a member of, among others, the Academic Council on the UN System, CIVICUS,

the International Baby Food Action Network, the Nightingale Initiative on Global Health.

Since 2009 he has been either First Vice President or President

of CoNGO, the Conference of NGOs in consultative relationship with the United Nations: its mission is to facilitate the participation of NGOs in the UN system.
