WHY HOME FOR HUMANITY?:
"For me, cultivating humanity is the order of the day.
Over the last 250 years, societies of the industrialized, commercialized world in particular have collectively focused on materialism, technology and money associated with it. The achievements in medicine, communication and mobility, for example, are enormous thanks to technological progress. But today, the downsides of this materialistic, technology-focused orientation can be seen and felt everywhere.
Home for Humanity and the One Home Journey for 7 years and 7 generations is a world-connecting initiative. What particularly excites me is that all citizens of the world can participate co-creatively as Earth Voyagers and enrol in the One Home UnivEARTHsity.
Learning from each other and cultivating humanity across all borders within this movement - that is what I am passionately committed to as an Earth Ambassador. Home for Humanity is an important piece of the mosaic in my mission to contribute to the transformation of economy and communities towards integral lifestyles benefiting a holistic common good. The vision that guides me: acting out of love, care and connection with all living beings."
BIO:
Andrea Klepsch grew up in Bavaria, Germany. It was here that her parents and grandparents laid the foundation for her connection with all living beings. Feeling woven into the web of life, caring for family, friends and other beings is her source of strength. Today she lives with her husband in a small village in Upper Bavaria. Commitment to a culture of relationship, both locally and internationally, is the common thread running through her professional life. An entrepreneur herself, she is committed to developing an economy based on measure and centre, on humanity, care, beauty and generosity. Inner, spiritual and emotional development is one of the keys to her work as a coach and consultant for driving corporate cultures towards sustainability.
Andrea is a pioneer of Sustainability Consulting and Communication. 1993 she founded the agency modem conclusa – the culture of relations, based in Munich, with the focus on ecology and social issues. After 31 years successfully supporting and inspiring companies and people in Germany and abroad alike to develop a business / a lifestyle which respects the planetary boundaries and increases beauty and joy, she handed over the enterprise to her successors.
Her philosophical framework is deep ecology, developed by the Norwegian philosopher Arne Naess and the US American activist Joanna Macy. 1995 Andrea founded collaborative with 7 colleagues the German Association for Deep Ecology.
Since 2000 Andrea is ongoingly broadening her knowledge in Systems Thinking, Systemic Coaching and Systemic Constellations Work.
Since 2016 she works with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as explanation and orientation what sustainability is and how interwoven and interdependent all human activities are.
What was already the focus of Deep Ecology, Andrea is now supporting actively within the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) movement. With the IDGs for the first time in history it is made internationally obvious and necessary that for achieving the SDGs we need Inner Development of individuals and organizations. She is convinced that “we ourselves can give human evolution a direction by working from inner to outer and at the same time from outer to inner.”
Andrea is the co-founder of the German Foundation Cocreatio – Stiftung für Kooperation und kollektive Entwicklung.
Since 2023 she is active at the WorldEthicForum as firekeeper focusing to the field of Kinship.
‘Co-Creating good Impact’ is the mission of the consultancy company Gottwald & Klepsch GbR, which she runs together with her husband, Prof. Dr. Franz-Theo Gottwald. Supporting a moral imagination for corporate visions, the development of corporate culture as a “fertile soil” for sustainable economies, strong and resilient team collaboration and individual as well as collective development
