Cross-Border Indigenous Alliances: Established a working relationship with the National Council of Indigenous Governments of Mexico, supporting efforts to reconnect ancient trade routes and strengthen intertribal relations across North and Central America. This includes coordinating meetings between U.S. Tribal leaders and Mexican Indigenous governments to promote economic sovereignty and cultural exchange.

Conversations with Spiritual and Cultural Leaders: Featured interviews with respected cultural advocates like Antonio Carrasco, President of the California Chapter of the Native American Church, discussing the spiritual significance of peyote ceremonies and the preservation of sacred practices, and Sean Milanovich, a Cahuilla elder with a Doctorate in Anthropology, who shared his deep cultural knowledge and perspectives on sacred sites and traditional ceremonies.

Stories of Resilience and Resistance: Documented the journey of Omeatl, a talk show host and community leader who, after arriving as an undocumented immigrant, established a 35-acre reforestation project in the Tejon Mountains and built a community garden in Boyle Heights, emphasizing self-sufficiency and cultural preservation.

Language and Cultural Revival: Captured the voice of Miguel, a Nahua speaker with a PhD in Mexican History, who shared the importance of language preservation, cultural identity, and the complex history of Native Mexican communities.

INNOVATION  ( to Humanity in Unity with all life ):

Drum Circle News innovates by reclaiming the digital space for Indigenous voices, blending traditional oral storytelling with modern media to create a platform that unites Native nations across the Americas. Our approach bridges cultural and national boundaries, revives ancient trade networks, and builds cross-generational connections, empowering Indigenous communities to reclaim their narratives.

Key innovations include:

Digital Storytelling as Cultural Preservation: Combining traditional oral histories with modern production techniques to capture the voices of elders, spiritual leaders, and cultural advocates, preserving their wisdom for future generations.
