BIO:
Brandon Villa is a biotechnology engineering student from Mexico. Passionate about innovation and committed to making a positive impact, Brandon believes that quality education is key to changing lives and creating opportunities, he has managed to materialize his ideals into actions such as in "Discere tutoring program". The project is based on teaching English to people of all ages in the community and providing positive initiatives for the planet through Común y Dar, that turn the communities into the epicenter of change, giving them the skills they need to develop fully. He carries this ethos into his endeavors, aiming to spread a message of hope, resilience, love and empowerment through his actions and contributions. He has fought the battles of disinterest in social problems such as inclusion, climate change, disability and poverty by creating, being part of, and improving safe spaces for people of all backgrounds. The entire journey has made him a recipient of scholarships and awards, allowing him to continue learning about nature, the environment and humanity to become a "leader of tomorrow", "Youth that inspires" and a "leader for social development". Brandon's journey in biotechnology is driven by his desire to use scientific advances to improve humanity and restore Mother Earth from the trenches closest to climate change: science and research.
